Mastering Micromanagement: Effective Strategies for Leaders

Lulu Lab is a company that spun off through Samsung Electronics' in-house venture C-lab in 2017. Based on 1 million skin data and AI technology at the global top tier level, it pursues beauty and digital healthcare businesses.
A number of investment institutions participated in the Series C, including Hyundai Motor Securities, SK Shielders, Nautic Investment, Elohim Partners, Acurus Group, and Woowa Brothers. They are paying attention to Lulu Lab's AI skin analysis solution.
LULU LAB's AI skin analysis solution "LUMINI" scans the skin and analyzes about 10 items such as pores, wrinkles, and acne within 7 seconds. In particular, based on these results, it matches and provides customized beauty products and contents for each individual's skin condition.
Lulu Lab also has B2B hardware-based products. LUMINI Kiosk V2 (LUMINI Kiosk V2) and LUMINI Handy were installed in offline beauty stores, clinics, dermatology, and beauty salons in Korea.
Recently, it signed a supply contract with Erha, Indonesia's largest clinic chain, and B.Lab, India's largest cosmetics manufacturer and distributor.
An official from Lulu Lab said, "AI technology is key to analysis accuracy and reproducibility, which is proportional to the quantitative and qualitative level of data," adding, "We have secured global competitiveness by developing algorithms that can control various variables to obtain quality data."
